The child care program is a ministry of Living Waters Fellowship that works to develop a community focused on the love of Jesus Christ for parents and children.
For our children, this means a day of fun while growing, learning, and doing. We offer something for infants to preschool age (or 5 years), and even school-age kids during the summer!
Our staff truly have hearts for the children in our community. We want to nourish their souls with games, stories, music, and relationships that encourage them.
The Living Waters Learning Center is directed by Jessalynn Cornett and assistant director Tiffanie Rowe, but includes church leadership (Pastor Darryl Gaunce and Pastor Eric Rowe) in all major decision-making processes.
For more information, contact Tiffanie at 859-533-4320 or director@lwfchildcare.com.
Our Learning Philosophy:
We believe that children learn best through play! This means that we make every effort to ensure play time is an opportunity for your child to be encouraged, challenged, and supported. We make the most of our play time, creating learning experiences from every interaction. Every lesson plan and activity is developmentally appropriate.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide our community with quality child care options, that provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Our staff utilize curriculum and practices that will challenge and encourage your child through their developmental stages. We believe every child is a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), and disciple them as such. Through daily Bible stories, implementing scripture regularly, prayers before meal, and other discipleship practices, we encourage your child in their faith.
All of our staff have received background checks. We do regular trainings in order to ensure that we are receiving the most updated information and education in order for us to best serve you and your children. Every staff member at LWLC is passionate about the needs of our children.
We encourage our staff to obtain their CDA through Morehead State University, and have several staff members in the process of pursuing this certification.
